About the builder · San Diego, California
Hey, I’m Keon.
The person behind Tilghman Trailers.
I’m originally from Maryland, but my story took a turn while I was living in Pennsylvania, working a nine-to-five and knowing I wanted more out of life. After seeing someone on Instagram living the van life by the beach in San Diego, I thought, “Why can’t I do that?”
So in 2019, I built my first camper van and headed to California. Through YouTube, plenty of hands-on learning, and friends in the van-building community, I developed the skills I now use to build Tilghman Trailers.
A small business with personality
A little goofy.
A lot of heart.
Today, I’m a small business owner in San Diego—goofy, creative, and full of personality—with a passion for turning small spaces into places that feel like home.
Built by hand. A small business.
Thanks for being
part of the story.
When you choose Tilghman Trailers, you’re supporting my small business and working directly with the person building your trailer.
