01 · Choose your trailer
Review the Classic or XL, its starting price, and available options. Use the model-page calculator to estimate your selected build. Copy your build summary to include in your inquiry.
02 · Submit a buyer inquiry
Share your contact details, configuration, budget, and purchase timing using the form below. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a build position or create an order.
03 · Confirm your next step
We review inquiries to confirm whether your needs, budget, and timing match what we offer. For suitable inquiries, we reply with pricing confirmation and, when appropriate, arrange a brief phone call or private viewing.
04 · Review your agreement
Once the configuration is confirmed and you are ready to proceed, receive your written quote and agreement. Review the included equipment, finishes, applicable tax, estimated timing, payment schedule, cancellation and refund terms, and warranty before signing.
05 · Reserve & build
Sign your agreement and pay the $10,000 reservation deposit, credited toward your total. The materials payment is due when your build slot opens and we are ready to order your trailer and materials. We provide progress updates during the build.
06 · Inspect & collect
Complete the agreed final inspection and walkthrough. The remaining balance is due before release. Pickup is coordinated in San Diego; any requested delivery is quoted and agreed separately in writing.
Payment schedule

One agreed price.
Reservation · $10,000
Due with your signed agreement to reserve the build position. This payment counts toward the purchase price.
Trailer & materials
The exact second installment is listed in your agreement. Due when your slot opens and we are ready to place trailer and material orders.
Final balance
Due after the agreed final inspection and before pickup or delivery. All scheduled installments count toward the agreed total.
Before any payment
Your written agreement explains installment amounts, due dates, changes, and cancellation and refund terms. Review it before signing or paying. Build positions are confirmed after the agreement is signed and the deposit is received.

Payment instructions are provided privately with your agreement and invoice. No payments are collected through this website.
Bank wire is preferred. Zelle may be accepted by prior arrangement, subject to bank limits. Confirm payment instructions directly with Tilghman Trailers by phone before sending funds.

Tilghman Trailers does not offer public tours, open houses, or walk-in visits. Private viewings are available by appointment to qualified prospective buyers who have reviewed our pricing and are prepared to move forward with a purchase if the trailer meets their needs.
Submit a buyer inquiry first so we can confirm your preferred model, budget, and timing. Calls and visits are arranged after review and are subject to availability. A deposit is not required just to request or attend an approved viewing.

Before you book
A few useful answers.
Can I meet you before paying a deposit?
Yes. Qualified prospective buyers can request a private viewing through the buyer inquiry form. Appointments are arranged after review. No build deposit is required for an approved viewing.
Can I book a call or visit immediately?
Submit the form first. We review your needs, budget, and purchase timing, then offer a call or appointment when appropriate. There is no public appointment calendar.
Does the calculator show the final invoice amount?
No. It provides an estimate, including a 7.25% California base-tax estimate. Additional local tax and any applicable title, registration, or delivery charges are confirmed in your final written quote.
What if I am not ready to buy yet?
Our model pages and photos are available to help you research. State your expected purchase timing in the inquiry. Calls and private viewings are prioritized for buyers prepared to move forward.
Can I change the layout?
Classic and XL layouts are fixed. Available choices are the listed finishes, exterior colors, rear door style, bed configuration, and optional additions. Any agreed changes to a confirmed order must be documented in writing, including effects on price or timing.
