What Happens Next?
Here’s a step-by-step guide on what to expect when ordering your custom Tilghman Trailer:
1. Schedule a Phone Call Consultation
Your first step will be to set up a 1-on-1 phone call with Keon Tilghman, the founder and builder. During this meeting, we’ll:
Discuss which trailer model best fits your needs
Go over your preferred colors and finishes
Talk through any small customizations or add-ons you'd like included
2. Customized Payment Contract
After the consultation, you’ll receive a detailed payment contract outlining:
Your selected trailer model
Any upgrades or personalized features
A clear breakdown of the total cost
Your custom payment schedule
This contract ensures transparency and peace of mind for both parties.
Payment Breakdown
To begin your build, we divide the total cost into three easy payments:
🔹 First Payment — 23% of Total Cost
This is your security deposit
Non-refundable
Secures your spot in line for the next available build
Deducted from your total balance
🔹 Second Payment — 66% of Total Cost
Due once your trailer order has been placed with the manufacturer
Trailers typically take 3–4 weeks to be built and delivered
You’ll receive updates throughout the process
🔹 Final Payment — 11% of Total Cost
Due upon pick-up, after final inspection
Must be paid before the trailer leaves the Tilghman Trailers shop
